No one parties on horseback quite like the Spanish. Jerez doesn’t warm up, it switches on: the Feria lights spark at midnight on Saturday, then the city stays in full glitter mode until the closing ceremony the following Saturday.
Set in Parque González Hontoria, this is Andalucía’s equestrian headline act. Jerez is old-money horse country, built on sherry and wine fortunes from the fertile land around town. That legacy didn’t stay on paper. It became serious studs and bull-breeding farms, still dotted around this beautiful, time-warp city like a very unsubtle calling card.
